Feliz Navidad!

Hola mi gente!

I hope you had a great holiday season mis amores. Mine was spent safely at home in quarantine, but still full of so much love! FaceTime and other video call platforms have been such a saving grace; they allowed me to still spend time with family and friends even though I couldn't see them in person.

I just wanted to share with you the quick photo shoot I put together for my Christmas outfit! This year since my husband and I were spending Christmas and Christmas Eve at home (Christmas Eve is usually a big thing for our family), I was literally in this outfit for a total of maybe an hour but I had it in my head for MONTHS so I couldn't pass it up. Generally, I'm usually like a solid eight on the extra scale when it comes to my holiday outfits because of who I am as a person but my extra always meets comfy. One thing about me: I will never wear something to a living room that I cannot be comfortable in.

Can you believe I got that cute little beret at Five Below of all places?! I bought it about two years ago so I can't guarantee they'll still have any but it's worth a shot if you want to look! I was so excited when I found it, like how could I pass up an adorable five dollar beret? It was available in Black and Grey as well but I chose the red because I love a good pop of color in an outfit.

My Jack Skellington bodysuit, crop top, and tartan shorts are all from Black Milk Clothing. They're one of my favorite brands because they're clothes have great quality, fit amazingly and are always super quirky and fun! They're based in Australia but their shipping from the warehouse to the United States was honestly pretty quick.

The bodysuit is burned velvet, which basically means the Jack faces are opaque and the rest of the suit is transparent. It's insanely comfortable and has a three snap crotch, so it's built with convenience! ;) The shorts? High waisted and fleece lined! The fleece is light so it keeps you warm without overheating and helps to keep the shorts. I didn't wear them for long but I also didn't have to adjust them once. To bring the outfit all together, I wore my black thigh high flat boots with gold details at the heel.

For this little impromptu shoot, there was no better back drop than the tree! How could I not use it? With the gifts under and ornaments hanging, it was just perfect and anyone can do it! All I did to take the photos was put my camera on a tri-pod and use the self timer option. It was a little tricky at first because my camera has a 3 second timer, so my husband probably thought I looked like a crazy person as I was pressing the button and running (or diving) into a pose lol. I'm also incredibly awkward so if you can now picture how lovely I looked while taking these photos, I hope it gives you some confidence to take some of you own! And if you do and post them, be sure to tag me on IG because I would love to see them!

Until next time! Peace and love to Infinity and Beyond.
